These Rules govern the use of TurboSwap at turboswap.io.
By creating a swap through TurboSwap, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Rules. You are responsible for reviewing all transaction details carefully before sending cryptocurrency.
TurboSwap provides an interface for cryptocurrency swaps using a third party exchange provider through an API integration.
The exchange service is provided by a third party service provider. Creating an order confirms your agreement with the rules of the third party service provider.
For more information, you can contact the third party service provider through our contact page.
If there is any conflict between these Rules and rules that govern the underlying exchange transaction, the applicable rules of the third party service provider for that transaction will control.
1. Eligibility
You may use TurboSwap only if you have the legal capacity to enter into transactions and are legally permitted to use cryptocurrency exchange services in your jurisdiction.
You must not use TurboSwap if cryptocurrency transactions or the underlying exchange service are prohibited where you live, reside, are located, or access the service.
Users are responsible for determining whether their use of TurboSwap is lawful under the laws applicable to them.
2. Restricted Countries and Users
The underlying exchange provider currently restricts the use of its service by certain users and jurisdictions.
According to its current rules, this includes users located in or accessing the service from Georgia or India, citizens and residents of the United States, users located in countries subject to applicable United Nations sanctions, and users in jurisdictions where cryptocurrency or the exchange service is prohibited by law.
These restrictions may change.
TurboSwap may restrict access to the swap service when required to comply with the rules of the underlying exchange provider, applicable sanctions, legal requirements, or compliance obligations.
Users should review the current Terms of Service of the third party service provider before creating an order.
3. Creating a Swap
Before creating a swap, you must carefully verify:
- The cryptocurrency you are sending
- The cryptocurrency you want to receive
- The blockchain network
- The amount
- The destination wallet address
- Any required memo, destination tag, comment, or similar identifier
- The selected rate type
You are responsible for the information you provide.
Cryptocurrency transactions are generally irreversible. Once funds have been sent to an incorrect address or through an incorrect network, recovery may be impossible.
TurboSwap cannot reverse a blockchain transaction after it has been broadcast.
4. One Transaction Per Order
Each swap order is intended for a single transaction.
Do not send multiple payments to the same deposit address unless specifically instructed to do so.
If multiple transactions are sent for one order, only the first transaction may be processed normally. Additional payments may require manual review and may result in delays, refund costs, or other processing requirements.
5. Fixed and Floating Rates
TurboSwap may offer fixed rate and floating rate swaps when they are supported by the underlying exchange provider.
Fixed Rate
A fixed rate is intended to preserve the quoted exchange amount for a limited period.
Under the current provider rules, fixed rate orders normally require the transaction to appear on the blockchain within approximately 10 minutes of order creation.
The exact required amount must be sent.
If the payment arrives too late, the amount is incorrect, or market conditions move beyond the provider's permitted range, the original rate may no longer be available.
In that situation, you may be offered the choice of continuing the swap using a new rate or requesting a refund, subject to applicable network fees and provider rules.
Floating Rate
With a floating rate, the final exchange rate is determined after the required blockchain confirmations have been received.
The amount ultimately received may therefore differ from the estimate displayed when the order is created.
Cryptocurrency prices can change significantly during confirmation periods.
6. Order Expiration
Orders are valid only for a limited period.
Under the current underlying provider rules:
- Fixed rate orders generally expire after approximately 10 minutes.
- Floating rate orders generally expire after approximately 30 minutes.
Do not send funds to an expired order.
Funds sent after an order expires may require additional processing and may be exchanged at a different rate or returned.
Sending funds more than 24 hours after an order was created may be treated as a violation of the underlying exchange rules.
7. Minimum and Maximum Amounts
Minimum and maximum swap amounts are determined dynamically and may change depending on the currencies, networks, liquidity, market conditions, and provider requirements.
The applicable limits are displayed when you create the swap.
Do not send less than the displayed minimum amount.
If you send more than the maximum permitted amount, part of your payment may require a refund or manual processing.
TurboSwap does not guarantee that previously displayed limits will remain available for future transactions.
8. Underpayments
You must send the exact amount requested for your order unless the interface clearly states otherwise.
Sending less than the required amount may prevent the order from being completed automatically.
An underpayment may require a refund or manual review.
Refunds are not guaranteed in every situation and may be subject to blockchain network fees and the rules of the underlying exchange provider.
9. Overpayments
If you send more than the required or permitted amount, the excess amount may not be exchanged automatically.
A refund may require manual processing.
Any refund may be subject to network fees, processing requirements, verification, and the current rules of the underlying exchange provider.
10. Wrong Network or Wrong Cryptocurrency
Always verify the blockchain network before sending funds.
For example, a token may exist on several different networks. Sending a supported cryptocurrency using the wrong network can result in significant delays or permanent loss.
If the funds are recoverable, additional fees and manual processing may apply.
For unsupported networks or currencies, recovery is not guaranteed.
The underlying provider may refuse recovery where recovery is technically impossible, economically impractical, or otherwise unavailable.
11. Memo, Destination Tag, or Comment
Some cryptocurrencies require additional information such as a memo, destination tag, payment ID, or comment.
You are responsible for entering this information correctly.
Sending funds without the required identifier, or using the wrong identifier, may result in the funds not being automatically credited.
Recovery may require proof that you initiated the transaction, additional processing, and payment of recovery fees.
In some circumstances, the funds may be permanently unrecoverable.
12. Blockchain Confirmations
A swap will normally not be completed until the incoming transaction has received the required number of blockchain confirmations.
The number of confirmations required may vary by cryptocurrency and may change.
Confirmation times are controlled by the relevant blockchain network and cannot be guaranteed by TurboSwap.
Network congestion, unusual blockchain activity, outages, fee conditions, reorganizations, or other technical events may delay a transaction.
13. Network and Transaction Fees
Network fees and exchange related fees may be reflected in the rate or amount displayed when you create an order.
Fees can change depending on blockchain conditions.
If a refund or recovery is required, additional blockchain or recovery fees may apply.
TurboSwap cannot guarantee that a refund will equal the original amount sent because applicable network fees may be deducted.
14. AML and Compliance Reviews
Transactions may be screened for compliance, fraud prevention, sanctions exposure, money laundering risks, stolen funds, criminal activity, or other prohibited activity.
A swap may be suspended while a transaction is reviewed.
You may be asked to provide information concerning the origin of the funds, transaction history, wallet ownership, or other relevant evidence.
In exceptional circumstances, identity verification may also be required.
If requested information is not provided, is false, or does not adequately resolve a compliance concern, the transaction may remain suspended, be refused, or be handled according to the applicable provider rules and legal requirements.
15. Prohibited Funds and Activities
You must not use TurboSwap to send, receive, exchange, conceal, or process funds connected with illegal activity.
This includes, where applicable:
- Stolen funds
- Fraud proceeds
- Money laundering
- Sanctions violations
- Terrorist financing
- Funds directly associated with sanctioned addresses or entities
- Funds linked to criminal services
- Transactions prohibited by applicable law
Transactions that trigger security or compliance concerns may be suspended or investigated.
Relevant information may be provided to competent authorities when legally required.
16. Suspended Transactions
A transaction may be suspended because of:
- Compliance screening
- Suspected fraud
- Sanctions concerns
- Suspicious transaction history
- Technical problems
- Incorrect transaction details
- Unsupported currencies or networks
- Blockchain issues
- Violation of these Rules or the underlying exchange rules
A suspended transaction may require additional information before it can proceed.
Processing times for investigations cannot be guaranteed.
17. Refunds
Refunds are not automatic in every situation.
Whether a refund is available depends on the reason for the refund, the blockchain involved, whether the funds can technically be recovered, the value of the transaction, network fees, compliance requirements, and the rules of the underlying exchange provider.
Refunds may be returned only to the original sending address in certain situations.
Additional verification may be required before a refund can be processed.
Refund processing times may vary considerably depending on the circumstances.
The current Terms of Service of the third party service provider govern the detailed refund conditions and should be reviewed for the latest rules:
For more information, you can contact the third party service provider through our contact page.
18. Transaction Errors
Transactions involving incorrect amounts, expired orders, wrong networks, wrong cryptocurrencies, unsupported assets, missing memos, duplicate payments, or other user errors may require manual processing.
Manual recovery may take considerably longer than a normal swap.
Recovery may also involve additional fees.
TurboSwap does not guarantee that funds sent incorrectly can be recovered.
19. Exchange Availability
TurboSwap does not guarantee that every currency, network, pair, rate, or transaction amount will always be available.
Exchange availability can change because of:
- Market liquidity
- Blockchain conditions
- Wallet maintenance
- Provider maintenance
- API availability
- Security concerns
- Compliance restrictions
- Network congestion
- Technical failures
- Market volatility
An available exchange pair may be removed, suspended, or temporarily unavailable without prior notice.
20. Service Availability
TurboSwap is provided on an as available basis.
We do not guarantee that TurboSwap will always operate without interruption, delay, error, technical failure, or temporary unavailability.
Parts of the service depend on external systems, including blockchain networks, wallet infrastructure, APIs, hosting providers, internet services, and the underlying exchange provider.
Events outside TurboSwap's control may cause delays or interruptions.
21. No Custodial Account
TurboSwap is designed as a swap interface and does not provide users with a traditional custodial account or stored balance.
You should send cryptocurrency only to the deposit address generated for the specific active order.
Never assume that an address from a previous order can be reused.
Sending cryptocurrency to an old address may result in delays or loss of funds.
22. User Responsibility
By using TurboSwap, you accept responsibility for:
- Verifying all transaction details
- Using a compatible wallet
- Selecting the correct blockchain network
- Sending the correct cryptocurrency
- Sending the correct amount
- Using the correct destination address
- Including any required memo or tag
- Complying with applicable laws
- Ensuring your funds are not connected to prohibited activity
- Paying applicable blockchain fees
- Understanding the risks of cryptocurrency transactions
You should not create a swap unless you understand how cryptocurrency transfers work.
23. Market Risk
Cryptocurrency values can change rapidly.
TurboSwap does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
A displayed exchange estimate should not be interpreted as a guarantee of future value.
You are solely responsible for deciding whether a cryptocurrency transaction is appropriate for you.
24. Taxes
You are responsible for determining whether taxes, reporting obligations, or other financial obligations apply to your transactions.
TurboSwap does not calculate, report, collect, or pay taxes on your behalf unless explicitly required by applicable law.
25. Third Party Exchange Provider
TurboSwap uses the third party service provider's technology and API infrastructure to facilitate the underlying cryptocurrency exchange.
TurboSwap and the third party service provider are separate services.
TurboSwap does not control the third party service provider's blockchain processing, liquidity, compliance systems, transaction policies, refund decisions, supported assets, exchange limits, confirmation requirements, or service availability.
